Byond Phablet PIII is now available on flipkart for Rs. 12,699. This phablet supports 3G, sports a 6 inch touchscreen display and runs on Jelly bean ICS OS.
Big screen phones also called phablet have already entered the Indian markets. The Karbonn A30 is once such handset; you can read the A30 review here. The Byond Phablet PIII is slightly bigger than the A30 model.
The Byond Phablet is 11.3 mm think and powered by a dual core processor, probably the same as on Karbonn A30. This phone also comes with 8MP rear camera and a front VGA camera. The 6 inch capacitive touchscreen display supports 5 point multi touch with 854×480 pixels resolution. The handset comes with a 2500 mAh battery and the company claims it gives about 3 hours of talktime.
It’s dual SIM with 3G support. Other features included are Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, micro USB and 3.5 mm jack. The storage and memory details are not known, yet. This big smartphone is priced at under Rs. 13,000 and I don’t think it will be that popular among users.
