BSNL T-Pad WS802C an 8 inch Android powered tablet was earlier available with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS which is now upgraded to ICS or Android 4.0. The price has also increased a bit to Rs. 14,699.

This Cortex A8 powered tab with a speed of 1GHz balancing on a 512MB RAM will now come loaded with Android 4.0. It is the same tablet with the same features except for the upgraded OS and the price.  The display screen is slightly bigger at 8 inches with resolution 800×552 pixels.

The BSNL T-Pad WS802C comes with internal storage of 4GB with microSD slot that can house 32GB cards. There are dual cameras a front 0.3 megapixels and a rear 2 megapixels. The quality is not so great.

Other features are Wi-Fi, integrated 3GSIM slot, Bluetooth and built in GPS. In addition there is the HDMI (out) port. Video @ 720p and 1080p can be played. The BSNL T-Pad WS802C can be ordered online and as of now does not come with any offers; probably they may offer BSNL SIM cards with 2G/3G plans for which you may need to visit the nearest BSNL store.

The BSNL T-Pad WS802C is priced at Rs. 14,699 which is definitely too high and it would be wise to buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 with 16GB internal storage that is available for around Rs. 19,000. The Tab 2 with 8GB (still to launch) will be even more tempting – price wise. Do check out these list of tablets available in India.
