BlackBerry Priv has been launched in the Indian markets for a price tag of ₹62,990. This handset is unique in the sense that it is from BlackBerry, comes with slider dedicated keyboard, and add to it, it’s running Android Lollipop 5.1.1 out of the box.

The BlackBerry Priv houses the qualcomm snapdragon 808 hexa core 64 bit processor clocked at 1.8GHz with Adreno 418 GPU. This smartphone comes with slider keyboard (4x row) and sports a 5.43 inch AMOLED screen (dual curved) supporting 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and protected with corning gorilla glass 4 protection.

Android 5.1.1 sails with 3GB on board RAM, 32GB storage and micro SD card support. An 18MP camera is packed on the rear with dual tone LED flash capable of recording 4K videos and front camera is a 5MP shooter.

Handset weight is 192 grams with battery and thickness is 9.4mm. Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, NFC, GPS, USB 2.0 with Slimport and Bluetooth 4.1.

BlackBerry Priv houses a 3410 mAh battery (fast charging supported) that gives up to day backup with mixed usage.
