After having a look at some of the BeeTabz tab with phone feature here are two more models that will blow you away. The BeeTabz GeekT 7 inch tab with single SIM and the GeekT+ a unique tablet that supports dual SIM.

BeeLabz.in is a fraud company, you can read more here, do not waste your time reading this article.

The MediaTek MTK6513 processor that is used on both the tabs in fact is used in many mobile phone. So technically the GeekT, is a big phone in a form of a tablet. The GeekT and GeekT+ can perform well as a tablet but do not expect too much from it especially if you are into HD gaming, avoid it. For anything else this is a perfect device.

Design
This tab is well built with 4 buttons on the front side with a 7 inch touchscreen display and a front facing VGA camera. On the right side there is SIM and MicroSD slot along with 3.5 mm jack and mini USB. On the top there is the power and volume rocker buttons.

Processor and RAM
Both the GeekT tablets come with a 650 MHz processor (MediaTek MTK6513) which is pretty slow good for a mobile but not for this tab. The GeekT and GeeKT + comes with just 512 MB RAM.

BeeTabz GeeKT tab with 2G phone functionality

Display and OS
These tabs come with a capacitive touchscreen display of 7 inches with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. The OS that comes loaded by default is Android 2.3.

Connectivity
You can use GSM SIM on the GeeKT and on the GeeKT+ you can simultaneously use 2 GSM SIM cards. The GeekT supports only 2G while the GeekT+ does support the 3G network.  Both tablets come with built in Wi-Fi.

Memory
The GeekT comes with just 512 MB internal memory which is no good while the GeeKT+ comes with a modest 4GB internal memory. Both tabs do support microSD cards.

Dual SIM tablet the BeeTabz-GeeKT+

Ports
1 x mini USB, power point, SIM card slot and MicroSD slot. There is no HDMI port on this tab. The processing power is just too low for that.

Other features
There is built in GPS and Bluetooth which gives some extra points to the tablet. There is also an internal speaker and mic.

Camera
The GeeKT comes with dual camera one for video chat and other for taking general photos. The 2 MP resolution is good enough. Front camera is of VGA resolution.

Battery
A 3200 mAh Li-Polymer battery powers this tablet (Not sure about the standby and talktime).

BeeTabz GeekT price in India is Rs. 7,500 and the GeekT+ model with dual SIM support comes for Rs. 9,500.

Conclusion
A tablet with dual SIM capabilities does attract a lot of attention but as soon as you hear about the processor speed the excitement is lost. Well I see this as an enlarged phone that has been given a form for a tablet. These tabs are not as powerful as the Xtab A10 or Micromax Funbook but then these tabs do come with phone functionality which is missing on the other tabs.

But that’s not it you get Bluetooth and GPS too. So in all it depends on what you want to do with the tab. For gaming users this is not the one, but for other users who want phone feature and are not so keen in running high end apps the BeeTabz GeekT or GeekT+ will be a good choice. It is better to go with the GeeKT+ version as it comes with 4 GB internal memory.
