As expected Asus has launched their Zenfone Max model in India. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart for a price tag of ₹9,999. Pre-orders have already started. The key highlight about the Asus Zenfone Max is that it houses a 5000 mAh battery that as per the company holds charge for up to 38 days (standby mode).

Asus Zenfone Max seems a good option for this price tag of ₹9,999. The 5000 mAh battery should be more than enough to keep handset powered on for few days and it can also be used as a power bank to charge other devices.

Inside the hood this smartphone houses the 64 bit snapdragon 410 quad core processor. This dual SIM device supports 4G LTE and is running Lollipop over a 5.5 inch screen with 1280 x 720p resolution. There is 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and 64GB micro SD card support.

Zenfone Max weight with battery is 202 grams and thickness is 10.55mm. A 13MP Pixel master 2.0 camera with f/2.0 aperture and fast laser auto focus is packed on the rear along with dual tone LED flash, front wide angle camera is of 5MP resolution.
