Asus, today launched series of ZenFone handsets in Southeast Asia. Asus ZenFone 4, Asus ZenFone 5 and Asus ZenFone 6 will be available in Singapore for under IDR 3099K (17K). No word about the launch in India or the Indian price tag.

The Asus ZenFone 4 is the cheapest of the lot and of course will come with trimmed down features. This handset supports 3G and comes with 4 inch screen with 800x 480 pixels resolution. Interestingly it is powered by Z2520 Intel ATOM processor (quad core hyper threading). There is 5MP rear camera and VGA front camera.  There is WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. ZenFone 4 houses 1170 mAh battery and will be available in 5 different color options.

Asus ZenFone 5 comes powered by dual core Z2580 Intel Atom quad core hype threading clocked at 2GHz. The screen is 5 inches IPS with 720p resolution. In addition there is an 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. There is 1GB RAM, 4GB storage and micro SD card support. The battery is 2050 mAh capacity. This handset will also be available in different color options.

Intel ATOM powered Asus ZenFone 4, Asus ZenFone 5 and Asus ZenFone 6

Asus ZenFone 6 will house the same chipset as used on the ZenFone 5. The IPS screen here is 6 inches with HD resolution. This handset comes with 13MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. There is 1GB RAM and 16GB storage. Battery is 3230 mAh capacity.

All of these handsets will run on Android 4.3 out of the box and entitled for KitKat update.
