Design
The Zenfone 3 Laser has got a premium look, design is completely different and is much better when compared with the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser. This new handset is packed inside a metallic body, available in Gold and Silver color options.
Build quality and finishing is very good. Handset is pretty slim weight with battery is 144 grams and dimensions are 76.05 x 148.76 x 7.87 (mm). The buttons have been shifted on the sides – if you recall the Zenfone 2 Laser came with volume buttons on the back.
This is a dual SIM handset you can use micro SIM + nano SIM or micro SIM + micro SD card (128GB max). 4G with VoLTE is supported. VoLTE works on SIM 1.
There is LED notification on the Asus Zenfone 3 Laser and following sensors – Accelerometer, proximity, light, magnetic, gyro and hall.
Display and OS
Handset is comfortable to hold and operate. Asus Zenfone 3 Laser is running Zen UI 3.0 over Android Marshmallow version 6.0. Touch screen is 5.5 inches (10 point multi touch) supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It’s an IPS screen with a 2.5D curved glass protected with Gorilla Glass protection. Colour reproduction, viewing angles and touch response are very good.
