At an event in Brazil Asus not only announced the other range of Zenfone 2 models but also announced a new special variant – The Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe special edition with a mind-blowing 256GB of internal storage space.

The Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition (what it is called) is powered by 2.5GHz 64 bit Atom Processor Z3580 and it does come with 4GB RAM. Screen is 5.5 inches supporting full HD – 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The screen comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

And as already mentioned the key attraction is the 256GB of internal storage space. This is a dual SIM handset with dual active mode with 4G LTE cat 6 support. On the camera part a 13MP AF camera with LED flash is packed on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. These are PixelMaster cameras.

Asus ZenUI with Android 5.0 runs out of the box. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. This Z3580 Intel Atom chipset supports fast charging and hence comes Asus BoostMaster fast charging technology.

I know 256GB is a huge space on a mobile, but there are some who will never be satisfied, they would want more space, well they won’t be disappointed – there is micro SD card slot too, can add up to 128GB of external storage space.
