The Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe is a dual SIM handset with 4G LTE support. It is using the Intel Atom 2.3GHz quad core processor running Lollipop OS with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. Zenfone 2 Deluxe is priced at ₹22,999.

Design and Display
The handset looks just like the other Zenfone 2 smartphones, however the back panel is quite attractive. The back panel comes with diamond shaped textures that not only looks great but you can also feel it. The textures gives out unique shades from most angles.
Weight with battery is 178 grams and dimensions are 77.23 x 152.42 x 11.29 (mm). Body is made of plastic, build quality and finishing is very good. The back panel can be removed and it is bit tight, not that easy removing it.
Power button is on the top with audio jack, micro USB is at the bottom and volume rocker is on the back. There are dual mics for noise cancellation. This handset comes with dual SIM slots you need 2 micro SIM’s. SIM 1 supports 4G/3G/2G and SIM 2 supports 2G only. In addition there is micro SD card slot too (64GB max).
The Zenfone 2 Deluxe sports a 5.5 inch screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and also comes with gorilla glass 3 protection. Colour reproduction, viewing angle and touch response are very good.
There is LED notification and following sensors – Accelerometer, light, proximity, gyro, magnetic and hall.
Memory, Storage and OS
Zenfone 2 Deluxe is packed with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage. Plus there is a micro SD card slot too. On the first boot you will get about 2.4GB free RAM and 54GB free internal storage space. Apps are getting installed on internal storage but you can move selected app to external storage. OTG is supported.
This handset is running ZenUI based on Android Lollipop 5.0 64Bit.
Performance and Benchmark
This Asus phone is powered by Intel Atom 64Bit Z3580 2.3GHz quad core processor coupled with PowerVR Rogue G6430 GPU. Performance is smooth and lag free, did not find any other issues. This hardware can play 4K videos.

Gaming
I played asphalt that was set to high visual quality mode by default. Game play was very smooth and lag free.
Camera
This handset comes with Pixel Master camera of 13MP resolution with dual tone LED flash packed on the rear. Front camera is 5MP resolution. Like the other Zenfones this one also comes with lot of camera options. Camera quality is above average, focusing is slower on Deluxe when compared with Laser.

Others
Sound is loud and clear. In call sound is also pretty good. No issues found with 4G, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. GPS lock was instant.
Battery
This smartphone comes with a 3000 mAh non-removable battery. With the fast charger you can charge the battery in less than 2 hours. You can expect the battery backup of 5 to 7 hours of continuous usage (moderate to heavy).

Verdict
The Zenfone 2 Deluxe falls into the premium category. It comes in exiting colour options and with the unique diamond shaped textures. Handset is powerful, camera quality is above average and the battery backup is also pretty good, it will easily last for over a day for daily low to moderate usage. Heat-up is well under control.
Zenfone 2 Deluxe does come for a price of ₹22,999 – another good option if you can afford.
