Asus company today unveiled the Asus FonePad Phablet and MeMo Pad 7 HD tablet at the Computex 2013 event in Taipei. The FonePad sports a 6 inch screen whereas the MeMo Pad is with a 7 inch screen.

Samsung recently launched the Mega 6.3 and the Samsung Mega 5.8 and we have already seen few more companies following the same path. Now Asus too has joined the big phone bandwagon. They announced the Asus FonePad with a 6 inch screen. They have also included a stylus that looks similar to the Samsung Note’s S-Pen.
The 6 inch IPS plus screen supports full HD resolution. This handset is powered by Intel Atom Z2560 processor clocked at 1.6GHz. It will run on the Android 4.2 OS with 2GB RAM. This FonePad supports 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. There is 1.2MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera.
Asus MeMo Pad 7
This is a 7 inch tablet with 1280×800 pixels resolution. It is powered by quad core processor and comes with 5MP rear camera and a front 1.2MP. This tablet runs on ICS OS. It houses a 1.2MP front camera, Bluetooth 4.0 and Asus Sonic Master audio technology. This tab will come in different colours and is expected to be priced under Rs. 8,500.
