Asus today launched 3 Transformer convertible devices in India starting from Rs. 19,990. The Asus Transformer Pad TF103 is the cheapest for Rs. 19,990, Transformer Book T200 for Rs. 35,999 and Transformer Flip Book for Rs. 47,999.
Asus Transformer Pad TF103
It sports a 10.1 inch screen (LCD IPS) with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. This pad houses a dual core Intel ATOM Z2560 processor and runs Android Kitkat. It is a tablet that can convert into a laptop (kind off) by attaching it to a docking station (with keyboard). The tab comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, it runs KitKat and supports GPS and Bluetooth. There are dual cameras too but quality is not that great.
Transformer Pad TF103 comes with 5070 mAh battery and is priced at Rs. 19,990 am not sure if the keyboard docking station is also included.
Asus Transformer Book T200
This is a hybrid 2 in 1 laptop + Tablet. Touch screen is 11.6 inches supporting 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. There is 2GB RAM and optional 32GB / 64GB eMMC storage. This device is powered by Intel Bay Trail 1.46 GHz quad core Z3775 processor and runs Windows 8.1. There is 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. Usage time is about 8 hours on a full charge. The T200 is priced at approx 36,000.
Asus Transformer Flip book TP550
This flip book sports a 15.6 inch screen, it comes powered optional Intel core (i3/i5/i7) processor and runs Windows 8.1. There is 1TB storage, 4GB RAM, DVD drive, cameras, Bluetooth, HDMI, Wi-Fi, etc.
The 6 cell Li-po battery gives up to 4 hours of usage time. The main highlight is that the screen can be moved from 0 to 360 degrees. The TP550 is priced starting from Rs. 47,000 onwards.
