Salora today launched the Arya A1 Plus smartphone for Rs. 5,499. This is a quad core powered handset using the MTK6582 chipset and runs KitKat out of the box. The key highlight is that the company has specifically mentioned that Android L updates will be provided.
The Arya A1 Plus is using the MediaTek quad core 1.3GHz MT6582 processor coupled with Mali 400 GPU. It sports a 4.5 inch OGS screen with 960 x 540 pixels resolution. A1 Plus comes packed with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. Users can also add external storage space of up to 32GB.
This is a dual SIM handset and 3G works on both the SIM. There is a 2MP front facing camera and a 5MP auto focus camera on the rear with flash. Key highlights are 3G (21Mbps), 2G, Wi-Fi, gesture, GPS and Bluetooth. The handset is 9.7mm thick and weight with battery is about 145 grams.
There are 3 sensors accelerometer, light and proximity. The 2000 mAh battery that the handset houses should be enough to give a full day of battery backup on a single charge.
The company promises exclusive services – If handset fails within 10 days a replacement will be provided within 7 working days. For any defect the mobile will be repaired within 7 days, if there is service delay users will be provided with one to one unit swap. If the mobile is repaired 3 or more times for defects then the users will also get a one to one unit swap.
Arya A1 Plus is available on Amazon.in for Rs. 5,499 with two Free Back Panels (Introductory Offer). It will be competing with the Android One smartphones.
