Alcatel One Touch Hero a 6 inch Phablet powered by 1.5GHz quad core processor is now listed on Flipkart with coming soon status. This smartphone runs on Android 4.2 and comes with a 13MP primary camera.
One Touch Hero Model 8020A houses a single Micro SIM slot. It is powered by MediaTek MT6589T quad core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU. With octa core already available in the market the hardware is a bit outdated, nevertheless if priced right it could still do well.
The key highlight about the Alcatel One Touch Hero handset is the 6 inch TFT OGS Full lamination screen with FHD resolution and Oleophobic Coating (fingerprint resistive). The box pack also comes with a stylus (most likely a capacitive stylus).
A 13 megapixel camera is placed on the rear with LED flash and with 1080p video recording capabilities plus a 2MP fixed focus camera on the front. Android 4.2 JB OS runs the show with 2GB RAM, 8GB storage (5.6GB space for users) and 32GB micro SD card support.
One Touch Hero is 8.5mm thick and weight with battery is 177 grams. Additional features are 3G (42Mbps), WiFi (a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, DLNA, HD sound Yamaha PA and GPS. There are G-Sensor, light, proximity and magnetic sensors. The 3400 mAh battery gives 18 hours talk time over 3G and 20 hours on 2G networks.
