Alcatel has unveiled their new handset in the OneTouch series called the Fierce XL. The Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL is snapdragon 210 powered, sporting a 5 inch screen with 720p resolution and running Windows 10 out of the box. This handset will hit the US markets for $140.
Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL as mentioned is using the qualcomm snapdragon quad core MSM8909 processor (210) clocked at 1.1GHz. This smartphone comes with I guess single SIM slot. It sports a 5 inch screen with dragon trail glass protection and supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.
Weight with battery is 173 grams and thickness is 9.45mm. Fierce XL is loaded with 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and micro SD card support of up to 32GB. An 8MP AF camera with LED flash (using Polaroid software) is packed on the rear and front camera is a 2MP shooter.
Additional features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and BT 4.1. Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL houses a 2500 mAh battery.
It will be available within few weeks in US via T-Mobile for $140. No word about its global launch.
