Alcatel today did launch the Idol 4 handset in the India markets with a price tag of Rs. 16,999. The details including the price were already known. Alcatel Idol 4 will be available on Flipkart, sale begins from 2PM today.

Alcatel Idol 4 dual SIM (Hybrid) is packed with 3GB RAM, 16GB ROM and 512GB external micro SD card support. This handset weighs about 135 grams with battery and thickness is 7.1mm. Idol 4 is powered by 64 bit 1.7GHz Snapdragon 617 octa core processor with Adreno 405 GPU.

Screen is 5.2 inches IPS LTPS supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels (full HD) resolution. Android Marshmallow runs out of the box. There is a 13MP PDAF camera with a f/2.0 aperture placed on the back with dual tone LED flash support and front camera is 8MP shooter with 84 degree wide angle lens.

Alcatel Idol 4 officially launched in India

Unique features are Stereo speakers x 2, Boom Key experience booster and NFC. Additional features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, dual band WiFi, OTG support and Bluetooth 4.2. Idol 4 houses a 2610 mAh battery with fast charging support.

Alcatel Idol 4 will go on sale starting today from 2PM onwards for Rs. 16,999 – JBL stereo headset and VR headset is includes in the box.
