Alcatel today launched the Flash Plus 2 an octa core powered smartphone running Marshmallow over a 5.5 inch FHD screen. The Alcatel Flash Plus 2 will be available soon in 5 countries (India not included) starting from $160 (approx Rs. 10,600).

This dual SIM handset sails on Android 6.0 with optional 2GB RAM / 16GB ROM or 3GB RAM / 32GB ROM. There is micro SD card slot that supports up to 128GB external cards. The Flash Plus 2 sports a 5.5 inch OGS screen supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.
Inside the hood this smartphone houses the MediaTek 64 Bit Helio P10 octa core processor MT6755 clocked at 2GHz coupled with Mali T860 GPU. A 13MP camera using OV13853 sensor with dual tone LED flash is packed on the back and on the front there is a 5MP fixed focus camera.
Handset weight is 157 grams with 3000 mAh fast charging battery. Other features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, BT 4.1, GPS and WiFi.
Alcatel Flash Plus 2 with 2GB RAM is priced at $160 and with 3GB RAM it is priced at $190. As mentioned this handset will be made available in 5 countries no word about when it will be or if it will be made available in India.
