Alcatel launched the following handsets in India – Alcatel OneTouch Hero, Idol 2, Idol 2 Mini, Idol Mini and Idol X. These smartphones will be running Jelly Bean but will get KitKat update. As for the price it will be under Rs. 31,000.

The OneTouch Hero is the costliest of the lot it is powered by 1.5GHz quad core processor, comes with 2GB RAM, 8GB/16GB storage and external card support. Screen is 6 inches with FHD resolution. This handset will be available in dual SIM and single SIM variants. It also includes a stylus with handwriting recognition. There is 13MP rear AF camera and 2MP front camera. This handset comes with a 3400 mAh battery.

The OneTouch Idol X is powered by 1.5GHz dual core processor. It sports a 5 inch screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. There is 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. This handset also includes a 13MP rear AF camera and 2MP front camera. Battery is 2000 mAh.

The Idol Mini sports a 4.3 inch screen with 854 x 480p resolution. It is powered by 1.3GHz dual core processor with 512MB RAM and 8GB storage. There is 5MP rear AF camera and 0.3MP front camera. Battery is 1700 mAh.

Alcatel OneTouch Hero now in India

Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 is quad core powered @ 1.3GHz. It comes with 5 inch screen with qHD resolution. There is 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and micro SD support. Also included are 8MP rear AF camera and 2MP front camera. Battery is 2000 mAh.

The Idol 2 Mini is also using the 1.3GHz quad core processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. It comes with 8MP rear camera + VGA front camera. Screen is 4.5 inches with qHD resolution. This smartphone comes with 1700 mAh battery.
