With Reliance offering free Jio SIMs and free 4G usage for 90 days – though they have still not revealed the tariff plans, to compete with it, Airtel launched Mega Save packed for its pre-paid customers. There are two options to choose from.
Airtel Mega Saver 4G/3G plan
If you are an Airtel pre-paid customer you can buy the Air Mega saver plan for Rs. 748 or for Rs. 1498. Now if you buy the 748 MRP pack you get to use Airtel data 4G /3G for a period of 28 days with a 1GB limit and after the first 1GB usage you can recharge another 1GB data (4G/3G) for Rs. 99 that will be valid of 28 days.
With the Rs. 748 pack you can continue recharging Airtel Data (unlimited recharges) with 1GB limit (valid for 28 days) for up to 6 month. The Rs. 1498 Mega Saver pack also does the same but it gives you 12 months pack validity and you can recharge 1GB Airtel Data that will be valid for 28 days for just Rs. 51.
If you are very heavy usage there is initial investment but after that for the next 6 or 12 months depending on the Mega Saver pack you choose you can make the most out of it, or unless if you are using Jio.
