HTC will soon roll out their new HTC Wildfire C which will run on the Android 4.0 OS and probably come loaded with a low powered CPU (Below 1 GHz). The Wildfire C with its trim down features will help make the price tag quite affordable.
PocketNow got access to the leaked information about the HTC wildfire C. As per the info available this handset will sport a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen display (480 by 320 pixel resolution) running the Android 4.0 (ICS) over a less powerful processor (600 to 800 MHz).
The Wildfire C will come with a 512 MB RAM which will definitely speed up the system and with 4 GB internal memory. MicroSD slot will be present to add more external storage space. Other features are Wi-Fi, 3G, built in GPS that will work with Google maps, Bluetooth 3.0, camera and Audio with Beats enhancements.
Well this is all we know for now. The handset will hit the markets somewhere in June and looking at the specifications it could probably be priced under Rs. 12,000. This year we will see many companies launching their entry level handsets making it more affordable to the consumers.
