Acer will launch series of handsets namely the Liquid Z200, X1, E700 and E600 smartphones in Q3 2014. The Z200 will be the cheapest of the lot and the X1 will be the premium one powered by octa core processor.

The Acer Liquid Z200 is a low budget smartphone powered by MediaTek Dual core processor clocked a 1GHz. It sports a 4 inch screen with WVGA resolution running Android 4.4 OS with 512MB RAM and 4GB storage. It comes with 2MP rear camera and 1300 mAh battery. There are no front cameras.

The Liquid E700 comes powered by MediaTek 1.2GHz quad core MT6582 CPU with Mali 400 GPU. It runs on KitKat with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage + micro SD card support. There is 8MP rear AF camera and 2MP front camera. Key features are 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Handset weight is 155 grams and battery is 3500 mAh capacity. Screen is 5 inches IPS with 720p resolution.

Liquid E600 sports a 5 inch screen with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. It is powered by qualcomm snapdragon MSM8926 quad core processor (1.2GHz) with Adreno 305 GPU. It also runs on Android kitkat with 1GB RAM and 4GB storage. There is 8MP rear AF camera and a front camera. Key features are 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Battery is 2500 mAh.

Acer Liquid X1 and Liquid E600

The Acer Liquid X1 will be using the 1.7GHz Octa core processor from MediaTek running KitKat with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. 32GB micro SD card is supported. Screen is 5.7 inches with 720p resolution. X1 comes with 2MP front camera and 13MP rear camera with LED flash. Key features are 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. This handset comes with 2700 mAh battery.
