EBuyer the British online store is now accepting pre-order of the Acer Iconia A110 tablet with Android 4.1 a.k.a. Jelly bean OS for a price tag of 180 GBP.  The device is similar to the Google Nexus 7 with just one exception which is the inclusion of a microSD slot – i.e. missing on the Nexus 7.

The Acer A110 sports a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of 1024×600 pixels (170 ppi). The main dual core processor (NVIDIA Tegra 3) is clocked at 1.2Ghz with 1GB RAM and internal storage of 8GB.

Though the Ebuyer.com website states the OS as Android 4.1 Jelly Bean but the show more details is still showing Android ICS or 4.1 as the main operating system. Either the website has not updated the same or they have planned for the 4.1 upgraded in coming weeks.  At this point we cannot confirm if the tab really comes with the stock Jelly Bean OS.

The Acer Iconia A110 weighs about 370 grams. Other key features are front facing 2MP camera, haptic feedback, micro HDMI port, micro USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS. The built in battery gives a standby time of about 240 hours and users can watch videos for up to 7.5 hours.
