Acer’s CloudMobile handset has won the iF design award which has now forced the company to admit that they indeed had plans to showcase their latest CloudMobile android handset at forthcoming MWC. The exact specification is not known yet but one thing is for sure this handset will be the first of its kind to use the AcerCloud system.

There is too much excitement about the latest CloudMobile handset and just by looking at the design you can predict the feature it will come loaded with. For example the font side is totally plain without any physical buttons which means it will most likely run on the Ice Cream Sandwich OS the android 4.0.

The Acer CloudMobile Android handset will feature a 4.3 inch touch screen with high-resolution display along with Dolby sound (You can see the Dolby logo on the back panel in the image). As far as the thickness is concerned it is around 9.8 mm. Other features may include over 8 MP resolution camera and 4G. Well that’s all we know for now. We will have to wait for the MWC scheduled event this month for more details.

The handset is called CloudMobile because it comes integrated with the AcerCloud technology that offers unlimited storage. All new Acer PC’s come integrated with the AcerCloud services and CloudMobile Android phone will be the first phone to have one.

The Acer CloudMobile Android handset may reach the markets by 2012 Q3 and still a lot of time before it reaches India.
