The Indian version of the Xiaomi website is already active and they will soon make their presence in the Indian market. Their products will be aggressively priced and the launch could happen next month.
According to unknown source (I cannot confirm this, yet) Xiaomi could tie-up with Flipkart (might already have) and could release the products in mid July. The launch could happen in Bangalore.
If this is true then Xiaomi will be available exclusively via Flipkart. Another news is that the Xiaomi Mi3 could be priced at under Rs. 20,000 (around Rs. 18K) with launch day offer.
Xiaomi marketing strategy is totally different. They do not spend much on advertisement, instead makes use of social networking, online stores, it saves money and helps them keep the handset at an affordable price range.
There is a strong possibility that Xiaomi will tie-up with online stores that would make them popular instantly just like we have seen with the Moto G. Xiaomi is a well known brand in China and their Mi devices are popular worldwide. The Xiaomi Mi3 with 16GB storage is priced at $329.99 that comes to approx Rs. 19,800. So a pricing of under 20K is possible.
